Citizen designer

During the Fall 2025 semester at Roger Williams University, I had the privilege of participating in Citizen Designer, a semester-long program where students work directly with local non-profit organizations to produce meaningful, real-world design work.

The non-profit my cohort partnered with was the Rhode Island Wildlife Clinic, a wildlife rehabilitation center located in Saunderstown, Rhode Island, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing injured and orphaned animals back into their natural habitats.

Through weekly client meetings and on-site visits, our team gained a deep understanding of the clinic's values, their mission, their audience, and the design challenges they faced. While we worked closely together as a group, each student was assigned distinct design responsibilities, allowing us to approach the clinic's needs from multiple angles while contributing our individual strengths.
